Connect a phone number
Attach a phone number to your assistant so it can answer and make calls.
Your assistant is ready to talk — now it needs a phone number, just like a person needs one to receive calls. Connecting a number is a few clicks in the app. There's nothing technical to install.
The phone number is what your customers dial. When they call it, your assistant picks up and starts the conversation.
Step by step
- Go to the Numbers area in the app.
- Click Connect a number.
- Choose which assistant should answer calls on this number — for example, your "Reception" assistant.
- Enter or pick the number you want to use.
- Click Save. The number is now linked to your assistant.
That's the whole setup. From this moment, calls to that number reach your assistant.
You can connect more than one number, and you can point each number at a different assistant. For example, one number for appointments and another for orders.
Where the number comes from
A phone number is usually provided by your telephone company (your telecom provider) — the same kind of business number you might already have. If you don't have a number yet, or you'd like a new one, just ask us and we'll help you get one set up.

A quick checklist
Before you move on, make sure:
- Your assistant is saved and ready.
- A phone number is connected to it.
- The assistant is set to answer incoming calls (if you want it to pick up the phone).
If all three are ticked, you're ready for the exciting part.
