Languages
Your assistant speaks and understands 32 languages, including Turkish and English.
One of the nicest things about your assistant is that it is not stuck in a single language. It can speak and understand 32 languages, including Turkish and English. So whether your callers prefer to chat in Turkish, English, or something else, your assistant can meet them in their own language.
Pick the language when you create your assistant
When you build an assistant, you choose its main language right there in the setup form. That becomes the language it greets people in and the one it is most comfortable speaking.
- Open your assistant in the app at app.calleague.ai.
- Find the Language setting.
- Pick the language your callers usually speak β for many businesses in TΓΌrkiye, that is Turkish.
- Save. From the next call on, your assistant greets and replies in that language.
Turkish is fully supported, end to end. Your assistant understands Turkish callers naturally and replies in clear, natural Turkish β not a stiff translation.
It can switch language during a call
Real callers do not always speak the language you expect. The lovely part is that your assistant can switch language in the middle of a call to match the person on the line.
For example:
- Your assistant greets a caller in Turkish.
- The caller answers in English.
- Your assistant simply continues in English, and the conversation flows on.
Your caller never has to ask "Do you speak English?" β the assistant just adapts, the way a friendly, multilingual receptionist would.
This is great for businesses with international customers β a hotel, a tourism office, an online shop that ships abroad. One assistant can warmly welcome callers in many languages.
A few tips
- Choose the language your callers use most as the main language. That sets the tone for the greeting and the default replies.
- Write your instructions in that same language so the personality and wording feel natural.
- If you serve callers in several languages, you can simply trust the assistant to follow the caller's lead and switch as needed.
Where to go next
- How a call works β see how the assistant listens, understands, and replies.
- Transcripts & history β each call's written record is kept in the language it was spoken in.
- Your voice assistant β go back to the basics of setting one up.
