Call recordings
Turn call recording on or off, find your recordings, and stay on the right side of the rules.
Sometimes it helps to keep a recording of a call — to check a detail later, to train your team, or simply to have a record. Calleague lets you turn recording on or off whenever you like, and keeps your recordings safe and private.
Turning recording on or off
Recording is a simple switch on your assistant.
- Open your assistant in the app at app.calleague.ai.
- Find the Call recording setting.
- Switch it on to keep recordings, or off if you would rather not.
- Save. Your choice applies to new calls from then on.
You are always in control. If you decide you no longer want recordings, just switch it off.
Where to find your recordings
Once recording is on, every recorded call is saved for you to listen to later.
- Go to your call history in the app.
- Open the call you want.
- Press play to listen to the recording, right there in your browser.
Alongside the audio, you will also find a written version of the conversation — see Transcripts & history for more on that.
Recordings and written transcripts are kept together with each call, so you can either listen to the audio or read the conversation, whichever is easier for you.
Your recordings are kept safe
Your recordings are private and protected. They are locked away securely, so they cannot be read or played by anyone who should not see them. Only you and the people you allow can reach them.
You are also in charge of how long they are kept. You can ask for recordings to be deleted, and Calleague will remove them.
Please tell callers they are being recorded
This is important. In many places — including Türkiye — you must let people know when a call is being recorded, and recording should respect their consent.
- Mention recording in your assistant's greeting so the caller knows before the conversation begins. For example: "This call may be recorded to help us serve you better."
- Respect the caller's wishes — only record when it is fair and lawful to do so.
- Keep recordings only as long as you need them, then let them go.
Letting callers know is not just polite — it is the law. Calleague follows KVKK (Türkiye) and GDPR. Before you record live calls, make sure your greeting tells callers about recording, especially when you are the one making the call.
